The Thursday Murder Club

The Thursday Murder Club is a great romp that was a joy to read. The cast of characters in the Coopers Chase Retirement Village are quirky and play well together!
The crew of characters take on the role of amateur sleuths meeting regularly to solve real or imagined crimes. The game becomes very real when death reaches the corners of the community of Coopers Chase. The plot is intricate without being too byzantine.
There is a real love for the characters shared by Osman. Each have their unique perspective on the crime(s) committed. There is some push and pull early on to determine the pecking order among the crew. However, that fades when so much comes to an end at the ‘Garden of Eternal Rest.’ The latter is a cemetery where many loose ends are neatly knotted.
I highly recommend this mystery for fall reading or for reading during any season.
